A family in Wandsworth, London are looking for an ABA therapist / School shadow to work with their 13-year-old son who has a diagnosis of ASD. Academically, currently working at a year 2 level, he is verbal, social and extremely gentle. His main struggle is expressive language and occasional anxiety.

The days / hours are on Tuesdays and Fridays 830/845am – 430/5pm consisting of half the day shadowing in school and working on the home program in the afternoon.

Both the school and the family home are in close proximity to Wandsworth Common (overground). Off street parking is also available. The successful candidate will also be available to travel with the family twice per year (one-week holiday, expenses paid)

 DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience of working 1:1 with pupils with ASD
• Minimum of 1 years’ SEN experience in a school environment.
• Good team spirit, energy and a sense of humour
